Get ready to feed your sumo-sized appetite and grab a yakitori stick with both hands at Bris-bane’s first Japanese Festival.
Famous for their culture, whiskeys and heart-warming flavours, Brisbane’s biggest and best Japanese hot spots will spotlight the country’s best, with sake tastings, market stalls, chopstick challenges and bento boxes all available in a celebration bigger than Godzilla himself.
The day’s festivities will take place at Sekisui House’s newest development, West Village. Set on trendy Boundary Street, West Village boasts a collection of indoor and open-air spaces for guests to explore. In March, it was the setting for the inaugural Brisbane Ice Cream Festival, seeing over 5,000 guests in attendance.
Tickets for $10 available here includes entry to a full day of gyoza feasting, drum dancing and han-ami-style picnic festivities, with activities and performances set to stun kids and adults alike.
