Showcasing an intimate portrait of a contemporary Australian icon and Brisbane identity, the Maos Last Dancer Exhibition: A Portrait of Li Cunxin will run from Friday December 1 2017 - Sunday 29 Apr 2018 at the Museum of Brisbane. Never-before-seen interviews, performance footage and personal artefacts will be revealed in the exclusive exhibition of Li Cunxin's inspirational story and famous ballet adventure.

Learn about his poverty-stricken childhood during Mao’s Communist China, and his dramatic move to the United States in the 1980s that earned him a spot in Madame Mao’s Beijing Dance Academy!

Tickets are available here.
