Nestled amongst artisanal gourmet goods in a bustling leafy marketplace you will find High Street, vintage, independent and high-end fashions. From designer racks to hidden treasures, there are plenty of bargains waiting to be discovered.  The Eagle Farm Markets monthly Closet Cleanout attracts the likes of savvy fashion bloggers and Stylists, fashionistas, vintage enthusiasts and thrift shoppers alike with clothing, shoes, and accessories on offer.

This monthly event has achieved incredible success and has become an integral local fashion destination. Brisbane has seen a strong shift towards buying local and sustainable produce in recent years and that trend looks to be moving into fashion as conscious shoppers look to upcycle, recycle and support local and ethically minded brands. Pre-loved and vintage shopping doesn't mean looking cheap - celebrities such as Alexa Chung and Lady Ga Ga rock the fashions of yester-year on a regular basis and shows like 'This Old Thing' and 'LA Frock Stars' are converting skeptics into enthusiasts.

Many garments at the Closet Cleanout are barely worn or still have tags and with prices as low as $2 there are loads of treasures waiting to be snapped up for a snip! Australian and International labels such as Zimmermann, Sass n Bide, Jimmy Choo, Bec & Bridge, Sabo Skirt, Camilla and Mimco are on offer... the list goes on!

It’s a fact that fashion is cyclical meaning that wearing vintage often compliments current trends and it’s always nice to have a unique one of a kind piece. The Eagle Farm Closet Cleanout sees crafty fashionistas express individual style on a shoestring budget and gives young designers a fuss free opportunity to establish up and coming labels.

This monthly fashion mecca features up to 40 unique stalls and starts early so those serious about uncovering fashion booty should arrive around 7 am. The recent revamp of the Eagle Farm Markets has seen the monthly Closet Cleanout relocated to a front and centre location surrounding the Historic Tote Museum. Don’t be deterred by the sun-up start to the day…good coffee and freshly baked croissants are just steps away and provide sustenance for the fashion finding work out that lays ahead.
