Looking for a way to feed your face and your conscience? Stop by Burger Project to get behind their new Limited Edition Burger “The Texan” to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Via The Rockpool Foundation, $1 from every sold Texan burger will be donated to Hurricane Harvey relief programs to provide assistance to communities in need. Available until Sunday October 15, The Texan was inspired by Rockpool Dining Group Chief Executive Officer Thomas Pash: a burger-loving Texan with a big heart.
“We knew immediately that we needed to step up, be supportive and do something important to help people in plight,” said Rockpool Dining Group Culinary Director, Neil Perry. “It’s a crisis that’s very close to the heart of the business and we’re honoured to give $1 from every The Texan to help Tom’s fellow Texans and those affected by the crisis.”
The Texan features Burger Project’s signature, Cape Grim beef pattie, cheese, pickles, onions, mustard and a smoky Tabasco chilli BBQ sauce.
The burger is part of a series of new Limited Edition Burgers to be released every six weeks and revealed via Burger Project’s Instagram page @burgerproject. To get your hands on a Limited Edition Burger from Burger Project you can pre-order on the Burger Project app or via Deliveroo.
