Hip- Hop Australian legends, Thundamentals are taking their new album on the road for a seven-date tour. Kicking off in Melbourne on the 10th of November, the trio will travel to Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.
Whilst the group has been known for their political commentary, their new album is drawing focus on an aspect that has been lost amongst what they describe as chaos. The result of this is ‘I Love Songs’, an intimate and intensely personal listen. Showing a far more vulnerable side to the artists music, band member Tuka explained that they want to make people feel calm and connect with the those around them.
It comes as no surprise that this album was Thundamentals most effortless and was the quickest for them to complete. Exploring isolation and broken romances the album has been written in stark contrast to their 2017 album, 'Everyone We Know'.
This year marks a ‘Decade of the Thundakat’, with ten years under their belts, the group is moving with more momentum now than ever before. Tickets are on sale now so take your chance to catch the trio on their tour while you can!
