With a menu set to reflect Beirne’s Irish heritage, as well as his love and fascination with Japan diners, can expect a diverse range of options to satisfy their hunger.

As one of Brisbane’s earliest prominent businessmen, Thomas Charles Beirne lived the 19th century Aussie dream; immigrating from Ireland as a young man with limited education, Beirne established himself as a draper, eventually opening the department store that lay the foundations for Fortitude Valley to become the retail, dining, and lifestyle hub that it is today.

Beirne Lanes menu offerings are set to reflect that of the Irish Heritage that Beirne represented himself. The extensive new menu offers bar snacks, a raw bar, Josper grill items, sides and desserts. Some highlights include the cheesy Japenese curry covered chips, chicken fat popcorn, spicy pork rings with seaweed crisps and peanuts. Paying its respects to the area's history will be the Beirne Lane take on a former Fortitude Valley classic, the Shilling Meal. Which will come with four freshly-shucked oysters, dry aged rib eye steak with buttermilk onion rings, and a clotted cream cannoli for something sweet. Perfect for sharing!

Arriving at Brunswick Street Mall in November, once the venue kicks off it will be showcasing Community Nights on Monday's, Sunday Sessions and a Sunday Brunch 'Breakfast Club.
