Suki hosted a private VIP launch to 150 people last week at Southbank with party goers being treated to Brisbane’s hottest new food trend ‘poke bowls’.  Meaning to section, cut or slice and pronounced ‘Po-keh’, Poke is traditionally known as a fish salad originating from the Aloha state.  Owners Eddie Isik and Leon McNiece (Ole Restaurant, Mucho Mexicano) have another hit on their hands with Suki which has been in the works for over 18 months.  At the event, guests were also treated to beats and bubbles along with Suki’s signature sushi burritos and ramen from RAMEN on Grey (located next door).
